Public Safety Administrative Law

Public employees face a variety of scrutiny that encompasses action taken against their employment because of policy even when no such violation occurred. Allegations against firefighters and peace officers for department policy violations could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

This can include actions taken by the Emergency Medical Services Authority against a firefighter paramedic (EMT-P) or EMT license, internal Affairs investigations and other administrative and personal repercussions.

At EPGR Lawyers, we will work closely with first responders to represent them in administrative proceedings stemming from internal affairs investigations, disciplinary actions and advocating for their rights under the Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights (“FBOR”) and the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights (“POBOR”).
