CPS investigating complaints of family of 6-year-old who ran marathon. Ben Crawford, the father of 6-year-old Rainer Crawford, posted on social media about the “scary process” he and his family experienced after Child Protective Services visited the family over the weekend over complaints about the child running a full 26.2-mile marathon. EPGR’s David Glass told GMA that this was a unique case in family law, because the family posted the content that caused CPS to launch their investigation.
